Devil's Tower Wyoming

We arrived at Devil's Tower View Campground on Sunday 8 Sept 2024. We were there early enough to check out Devil's Tower after we got set up. We went and got the lay of the land to do a hike early on Monday, then leave a day early to drive to Billings Montana to get our truck serviced. So we ended up staying less than 24 hours at Devil's Tower Wyoming, but we still got in a hike and lots of pictures.

We left Devil's Tower South Dakota on Monday 9 Sep 2024 after our hike and drove to Billings Montana to stay at Billings Village RV Park for two nights. To our pleasant surprise, the campground permits washing of RV's and vehicles. We took advantage of that and Steve washed the outside of our camper while I cleaned inside of the truck and camper. Needless to say, we were tired at the end of that day. Our appointment was at a dealership in Billings at 8:30am on Tuesday and it turned out to be only about 3 miles away. We spent the morning into the early afternoon waiting on our truck, but we avoided bigger problems if we hadn't gotten the "check engine" light addressed. We took the truck through a carwash after leaving the dealer.

We were excited that the truck was taken care of that day and that we didn't have to plan to take it in in Missoula while we were visiting our friends, Darrell and Joanie, in Hamilton Montana.
