Duluth & Rochester Minnesota

We arrived at Lakehead Boat Basin and RV Park in Duluth Minnesota on 18 Aug 2024. This happened to be our 7 year wedding anniversary, so we went to dinner that evening. This campground was different from any other we've stayed in since we've been on the road. It was tight getting through the city and even tighter once we got into the campground to maneuver. Steve is quite skilled at parking our home in tight spots so we got settled and went out for a walk. We were close enough to downtown and the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge to walk to everything, so our truck didn't move again till we pulled out of there on the 21st. We walked a lot while in Duluth and even speed walked when we were trying to see a ship cross under the bridge. We made it!

On 21 August, we drove to the Albert Lea/Austin KOA in Hayward Minnesota to see Steve's nephew Easton in Rochester. We had dinner with Easton and Andrew on Thursday 22 August. It was good seeing them and catching up on life. They enjoy traveling too, so we swapped stories about places we've been. It was a fun evening.
