With the passing of Steve's dad, we were in Waterloo to help sister Janice with arrangements, which was a Catholic graveside ceremony on Saturday 2 Sep 2023. That gave the siblings time to come in. We just did what we could to help. We got to see Steve's high school friend Jeff and his wife Donna. They were a Godsend! They hung out with us at the campground, took us out to lunch and even took us out on their boat one morning. We felt helpless and all the other emotions that go with grieving, but good friends really helped. To quote the angel Clarence in the movie "It's a Wonderful Life", "Remember, no man is a failure who has friends".
